Here is our own newly renovated ensuite. Making better use of the space we created a double walk in shower, using glass splashbacks as an alternative to liners or tiles...
"20/20 Glass Plus removed our old 'tired' ensuite then re-built and installed a new one which included project managing new flooring, gib replacement, plastering and painting, all electric and plumbing installations, tiling, fitting and supply of hardware.
We were kept informed at every stage of the renovation. He works with only skilled tradesmen and as a result work was completed on or ahead of schedule.
At the conclusion of each day's work the site was cleared and swept.
We highly recommend Andre Massey to you to install your new bathroom." Dave Sales
"Thank you Andre for turning our bathroom into a quality, upscale space... we just love it!"
"Andre did an amazing job of our bathroom, toilet and wash-house, his workmanship was just impeccable. The preparation work was just outstanding and he talked us through every step... he will not cut corners and such a hard worker, and always cleaned up after himself. Going the extra mile for his customers and always thinking outside the square.. all our friends and family rate his work as 100% quality... we would truly recommend Andre to anyone." Marlene
"Wow what a fabulous job Andre has done transforming my bathroom from the 1980s to a million dollar look bathroom, I would recommend Andre as a very professional tradesman who gives 100% to the job,"
Here's the quick before and after:
With a whole lot of work in between:
“Andre was highly professional in his work and attitude. Hard working, he was always here when he said he would be and his help in getting other tradies (ie plumber and electrician) was invaluable. His quality of work was second to none ,we would highly recommend and will definitely be using Andre again”
This shower had sprung a leak after 18 years and the owners decided it was time to lavish some love on their old bathroom.
Here is where we started...
And here is the end result....
“We would recommend Andre as a tradesman - he was honest, reliable, and very thorough. We had a few hitches but he worked through them and any issues were resolved quickly. We're very happy with the finished result.”
This couple are going through and updating their house, so it was the full works: relining walls, waterproofing and tiling before the finishing touches. Both layouts were remarkably similar, though different tiles were used in each.
First the ensuite...
Then the main bathroom...
This is one of my favourite jobs to date, working with a lovely couple on their two bathrooms and a toilet that were in need of an update. Here's what Barry and Lynne had to say:
“Andre’s genuine interest in us and our project, including our expectations and budget, was both transparent and compelling. His ability to think outside the square helped enormously in avoiding potential problems. Not only did he carry out and complete the work as agreed, he exceeded our expectations on quality and finish in all areas. As a result we now have two extremely well appointed, high quality bathrooms that we enjoy and (never to be underestimated) add value to our home.”
First up, the ensuite, here is what it looked like at the outset...
Starting with stripping it all back...
Add some tiles, frameless glass and a mirror and voila, the final look....
Then on to the main bathroom. Here's what it looked like at the outset...
Many hours tiling and installing a modern frameless glass shower later, the finished look:
And not forgetting the toilet...
"Andre was great to deal with, very professional and friendly. He did an amazing job with the waterproofing, tiling and glazing. We love our new bathroom!”
The previous owners of this house had built the ensuite as a large wetroom - the shower was on the wall to the left of this picture, and there was a small vanity to the right.
The new owners wanted a much more modern feel, with a separate shower.
The first order of business here was creating a new floor as this old one had been constructed (I use that word loosely in this case!) so that it sloped inwards towards a central drain,
With a new blank canvass created, it was time to start waterproofing, creating a shower base and tiling...
Then onto the incredible looking blue china splashbacks and frameless glass shower...
