“Andre was highly professional in his work and attitude. Hard working, he was always here when he said he would be and his help in getting other tradies (ie plumber and electrician) was invaluable. His quality of work was second to none ,we would highly recommend and will definitely be using Andre again” This shower had sprung a leak after 18 years and the owners decided it was time to lavish some love on their old bathroom. Here is where we started... And here is the end result....
“We would recommend Andre as a tradesman - he was honest, reliable, and very thorough. We had a few hitches but he worked through them and any issues were resolved quickly. We're very happy with the finished result.” This couple are going through and updating their house, so it was the full works: relining walls, waterproofing and tiling before the finishing touches. Both layouts were remarkably similar, though different tiles were used in each. First the ensuite... Then the main bathroom...
“Excellent job and communication, very professional, with a real commitment to do the best for the customer.” (fitting the customer's own shower)
“Excellent tiling job in our shower thanks.” Here I fitted the customer's own shower and tiled the area.
This bathroom is part of a comprehensive whole-home renovation, it's quite a transformation in progress. That means these walls came lined ready for me to waterproof, then onto the tiling and glasswork and, ta da, bathroom one complete...
As you can see, frameless glass can be used in a variety of ways to suit the space you have and look you want to create. It can be mixed and matched with different hardware to give it that finishing touch. As you can see, most people choose chrome, but black powder coated hardware can look great too. Here are a variety of box showers I've done lately and then some of the inline showers...
When I'm renovating bathrooms, I get a real insight into what these often unseen areas of people's homes really mean to them. This job was no exception, and the owner poured a lot of sweat, tears and love into making this a space she is now thrilled with. Here are the before shots... “Andre is very professional and pleasant to work with. I am very happy with his work, my bathroom looks great! It took a bit longer, due to drying time, but I would recommend him to others.”
Here are some photos of the finished bathroom.... “Super pleased with result and process. Andre fitted us in around other jobs and completed the job within 3days to a high standard.”
This is one of my favourite jobs to date, working with a lovely couple on their two bathrooms and a toilet that were in need of an update. Here's what Barry and Lynne had to say: “Andre’s genuine interest in us and our project, including our expectations and budget, was both transparent and compelling. His ability to think outside the square helped enormously in avoiding potential problems. Not only did he carry out and complete the work as agreed, he exceeded our expectations on quality and finish in all areas. As a result we now have two extremely well appointed, high quality bathrooms that we enjoy and (never to be underestimated) add value to our home.” First up, the ensuite, here is what it looked like at the outset... Starting with stripping it all back... Add some tiles, frameless glass and a mirror and voila, the final look.... Then on to the main bathroom. Here's what it looked like at the outset... Many hours tiling and installing a modern frameless glass shower later, the finished look: And not forgetting the toilet...
